Pros

iBASEt is a small company that is focused on meeting the needs of complex manufacturing customers. With this singular focus on what they do, they align all their employees and their work toward this goal. This makes them a very responsive company, not only with customers, but with employees. Everyone's input is important with the VPs, the president, and owner/CEO. It is a tremendously supportive environment with a team atmosphere.

Cons

iBASEt only hires experienced people who can pull their own weight. It is not a place to learn the basics of your craft.

The best kept secret in Manufacturing Execution Systems is iBASEt Solumina Software solution. The most exciting part of working for iBASEt is the High Value solution for building complex products in Aerospace, Defense, Space, Medical and Industrial Equipment. I see growth in the future with our customers and future customers with iBASEt.

Cons

Days are too short; so many opportunities to make the needle move on your goals, it can get very addicting to never stop.

Pros

iBASEt isn’t just a company, but also a tight knit group of intelligent people all with similar interests and goals that have provided me a really valuable experience thus far. The management and leadership have incredible industry knowledge and I also like the fact that they take a genuine interest in trying to solve customer problems vs. peddle software. I would have to say that this is the best company I’ve worked for because they know how to treat their employees as professionals and this company sees our values as a career and not a job. The benefits are given as soon as you start, very impressive, shows the company loyalty to its professionals.

Cons

Being lower in the food chain makes it harder to get visibility of the overall big picture. Though it has been hard to see the forest for the trees, the company has greatly improved cross functional communication and management has opened up more about future direction. We have educational mash ups and get to collaborate with other departments. I hope we can get more of this type of collaboration as it gives me a better understanding of where we are going and what my contributions mean in the bigger scheme of things.
