Political and skewed priorities

Pros

-Affordable and good benefits including health insurance, PTO (moving to DTO next year), random days off. -Wonderful people though the bad eggs can unfortunately be the ones who make your job unbearable at times.

Cons

-Everyone is burnt out and stretched thin. Long hours, not replacing all the people who are running out the door, lots of unnecessary changes such as product names, functionality, roadmap, etc. so messaging to prospects and customers is never consistent. -When they laid off 10% of the workforce 1 month into COVID, it was completely political. Cuts were made to teams who really couldn't afford it while other teams have a very light workload. Priorities were misplaced in those decisions and it was way too political. If the executive for your team has a good relationship with your manager/director, you were kept and if not, your team suffered. -Hypocritical-they claim to care about employee well being but don't provide coverage for employees to take time off let alone care for their health day to day. -Difficult to get standard tasks done because of conflicting priorities across sales, security, marketing, etc. Despite Accountability being one of the company pillars, management can never make a decision and they do not take action when one of their direct reports fails to complete deliverables.

Pros

Decent benefits, Summer Fridays (a few days off in summer), holiday PTO, great teammates.

Cons

Research other Vista Equity companies and see what happened to their culture once Vista took over. The original vision & culture that was iCIMS is no longer the case, which is no surprise that we've seen so many executives leave this year, then Steve Lucas was appointed to take over (came from Marketo, which Vista Equity sold to Adobe). There are so many flagrant red flags for this year - changes in territory, management, quota (can't even calculate your commissions as it uses a complex formula) and management becoming much more micro-management with all the intense pressure they're getting from executives. You're just another name that brings in $ to the business and there's no sincere appreciation. Speak with any tenured iCIMS Sales reps and they'll also vocalize how much less they're making in overall earnings year over year the longer they stay at iCIMS as well. Just run away, it's not worth being at iCIMS anymore.

Pros

The heat works, decent windows when the blind police are not opening or closing them. Bagel Friday.

Cons

Critical thinking is not appreciated or encouraged. All top down and do not get on the wrong side of Colin's inner circle or the door is yours.
