Pros

From the onset of the interview with the Technical Services Director, I was immediately at ease which allowed me to be open about my skillsets and value I could bring to the position. This continued throughout my tenure with the company. The management fosters an environment in which autonomy is granted upon showing initiative and going the extra mile. I was consistently a high performer and I was rewarded as such with recognition and regular advancement opportunities, which in my opinion is in many cases more important than your standard monetary raise. The management is generous in allowing employees to grow within their positions, and fair when personal mistakes occur by providing meaningful and encouraging direction. The product (BI Dashboards) were challenging, yet very enjoyable to work with and solve problems. They had a very high rate of success of impressing prospects and/or existing clients during demonstrations and deployments. The component of the position I enjoyed the most, was the dynamic nature of solving problems with a wide variety of customer verticals. These onsite engagements included implementation, development, and knowledge transfer to turn their raw data into business intelligence to enable clients to make informed decisions resulting in actionable results. The management team was a pleasure to work with and the CEO promoted an unselfish and prosperous environment (even in a down economy) in which employees had viable opportunities to grow if they brought value to the company. iDashboards is a great company to work for, with very strong growth potential both personally and professionally.

Cons

Some of the roadblocks I encountered were relative to product limitations from continuous product development. There was a high caliber of competition on the market and certain functionality was often discounted as not providing sufficient value to the enhancement of the iDashboards platform.

Pros

-Flexible work schedule -Made over 100k every year after my first year -Autonomy over my day -Can come up with new sales approaches -Customers really like the software -I am not micromanaged. Leadership hasn't asked me about how many calls I've made today -Tons of territory -Leadership wants my feedback

Cons

There are growing pains to work through. As with most sales positions, people that aren't motivated and creative won't make it.
