Pros

Growth potential, phenomenal product, great young culture. Here are some facts to consider that can't be denied: Fact: Everyone who is in Management with this company was promoted internally, this speaks volumes about growth potential. Fact: All Sales Managers and Sales Directors still sell directly to customers. This is important to know because you do not have Upper Management dictating to the Account Managers how to do their job or demanding results without doing the grunt work themselves, knowing on a daily basis what it takes to be successful in both a Management and Representative role. Fact: iDashboards has more than doubled (almost tripled) their employee staff in less than 4 years and has outgrown 2 other offices. There has been positive revenue growth every single year than the year prior since it was formed. This is proven and undeniable, just google the press releases. Fact: 94% of iDashboards customers recommend iDashboards to other departments and customers. This again was proven by an independent survey that was conducted less than 6 months ago. You have to believe in what you sell to be successful, and this statistic certainly speaks to our satisfaction rate. Would you recommend a company, product or service if you had a bad experience with the rep who sold it to you? Fact: The average age of iDashboards employees is in their mid-30s. This is a young company with HUGE potential for those who are looking for a long term career. I've been in a strictly Inside Sales capacity for 15+ years, selling software in one form or another. I can honestly say that this company is the best I have worked for. This is not a churn and burn environment. Sales reps are provided the resources, tools and knowledge needed to be successful. There is a formal training process put in place that takes weeks to complete assuring your success, if do the work. However, like any sales position, you need to be able to sell. Unfortunately, not everyone has this ability. This is a B2B sales position, you are dealing with C-Level executives and sales cycles that can take months. Anyone who has done B2B sales and was successful knows where I'm coming from. This is not a "one call close" B2C type of sale, which can frustrate those seek that instant gratification. My last position was with a B2B Publicly Held company and hundreds of Account Managers, where I spent 7 years before making the move to iDashboards. For me, the transition was very easy. Sure, this is a small private company, but being able to make the same income at year 2 with iDashboards that I made at year 7 with the public company was the icing on the cake for me. I've been approached by recruiters but honestly have no interest in making a move from here. Like every sales position, iDashboards makes the investment in you as a sales rep, and expects a return on that investment. I don't know any Sales Position that would allow a rep to consume resources for 8 months to a year with little or nothing to show for it, and not look to cut their losses. There are no Glengarry Glenn Ross-Alec Baldwin speeches and performance ultimatums here, no BoilerRoom micro-managing, 700 calls a day hard sales pitches either. This is a B2B sales environment that fits the norm of all other traditional B2B sales environments, but with a much more younger, energetic workforce and business-casual dress code atmosphere. Lots of team building events also (Company Picnic, Annual Golf Outing or similar event, End of Quarter Happy Hour, Christmas Party, etc...).

Cons

Some growing pains, private vs. public so maybe not as organized as your Fortune 500 companies, not a household name that companies recognize off the bat, 2 core products offered with some overlap between them.

Pros

I've worked at iDashboards for 3+ years and they're one of the leading providers of business dashboards worldwide. They're product is easy to believe in, truly outstanding and sells itself which explains why iDashboards has seen consistent year-over-year growth. iDashboards is employee focused and fosters an environment of team-work and one where their employees have a voice. The different teams (Sales, Marketing, Technical Services) work hand-in-hand and there is constant feedback between employees and Senior Management to help move the product and company forward. Product development is always evolving and responding to customer needs. New employees are given hands-on training and guidance to decrease the learning curve and new sales hires are even put through a top sales training program such as Dale Carnegie. Overall, it's a tremendous place to work and the atmosphere is uplifting, fun, and positive. In fact, who doesn't like to play "Air-Hockey", "Foosball", "Ping-Pong" or "Bag-Toss (Corn-hole)" on their lunch break?!?!?! I would recommend this company to anyone.

Cons

With iDashboards being a fast-paced, constantly growing business........things are always evolving and employees must be receptive to change and able to react quickly. But this isn't necessarily a bad thing. It means that the company is expanding / advancing and constantly positioning itself for growth.
