Thank you for your feedback. In the highly competitive e-commerce marketplace it is critical that we adapt to the customer's requirements. While some team members are resistant to change, it is necessary that we find better ways to service our customers through process improvement. At the Easton FC we are constantly looking for ways to further improve upon the customer experience. Many of these improvements come from our employees through our Lean approach to process improvement. At iHerb we utilize automation, a world class warehouse management system, work instructions, and 5s along with our lean methodology to enhance the customer experience.

Pros

A very diverse workplace and rightly proud of it. iHerb has fearlessly been progressive in regard to technology and uses the best as close to the bleeding edge as can be stable enough for production. The people are probably one of the best resources here, they are the kind you can rely on; they care about one another. This e-commerce company is very global and has very high throughput. That combination, including the cutting edge technology, make it one of the most innovative and unique experiences in the area.

Cons

iHerb has gone through some very difficult growing pains shifting strategies. The transition went pretty rocky. Ultimately, the company has done a lot to course correct and it is working.

Pros

So many smart and talented people at iHerb. People get along really well and support each other. Company is listening to its employees and making changes. Also taking some time to focus on fixing customer experience gaps.

Cons

Incredibly fast paced and some days there are many distractions.

Thank you for your time and attention to provide feedback to us. We continue to implement and modify the ways team members can share improvement suggestions and new ideas. We are reviewing and refining our people processes so that whether as a candidate, new hire, or full-fledged team member, our employees know their purpose and are engaged in iHerb's culture (which, yes, to your point, is fast-paced; speed matters to iHerb's business).
