Pros
- good local - yummy snacks and drinks - good onboarding structure in the US
Cons
- sharp hierarchy - management has its favorite and non - favorite people and they let you know that - you can not point out a problem, you’ll be muted immediately - you cannot give feedback on your work it even criticize constructively Ncino is purely hierarchical; Everyone is pressuring the one below, because they’re being pressured themselves - with their own agenda - this leads to a very toxic working environment. They set unrealistic targets - and if you don’t achieve them, they blame it on you without understanding the different markets. It is more about different politics and power games among the managers, which also does affect the employees. There are, I would say, quarterly sackings of people in a very disrespectful way, which at the same times gives a message to the rest of the team that you or your colleague could be the next - a little bit like in “Hunger Games” - if you watched it. Do not believe all the fantastic reviews here on glassdoor, as this is strongly boosted by their marketing team - for sure, in life there’s always challenges in each company, but presenting ncino like heaven does definitely not align with reality. Quite the contrary: many people fear each day that this could be their last day - no matter how long you have been working for them. Only if you’re in the ‘right gang’, that means in the management’s one - you do not have to worry too much for now. But even this can change quickly- either you obey, or you’re out. It’s a very ruthless place.
