Pros

Working with my immediate team Benefits are good

Cons

- Childish and unprofessional managers. These managers allow highly inappropriate conversations to take place. They don't have the slightest clue how to help you with your job. They are glorified executive assistants managing a calendar. Constantly schedule meetings only to cancel them 5 minutes before they were to begin. If you ask questions, they typically have no idea how to answer. Their advice is just google it or tell you they are not the person to be having this conversation with. -HR is not your friend. Do not trust this group. They will do whatever they need to do to protect management. Voice any concern and they will retaliate on you the employee. - Fail to set their employees up for success. They will not utilize your area of expertise and attempt to put a square peg through a round hole. - Sr. Management will tell you one thing and then secretly give different direction. -Do not have an opinion here. They want people that will not challenge the status quo.

We are sorry to hear your feedback, which seems very counter to the experience our employees share with us in various forums including Glass Door postings. While we are very proud of our almost 90% positive employee engagement rating, we recognize nCino may not be an employer of choice for some. We wish you well in your future career endeavors and hope you find or have found an opportunity where you feel you can be more successful.

Pros

The people that I work with on a day-to-day basis are awesome. Most everyone is willing to help you understand and learn. Never felt that I was looked down on for not knowing something.

Cons

Return to office was conveyed as a way to improve collaboration and innovation but at the end of the day it seems like they only want people in seats and don't actually care about anything else. Culture feels forced and disruptive.

Thank you for your post and we are sorry you are still unhappy with our back to office decision that was made 18 months ago. However, after thoughtful consideration it was the best decision for the company. I'm sure you can appreciate that nCino is a business and decisions must be made to ensure the ongoing success of the business. And we agree with you on your comment about our people. AMAZING people who care about this company and it's success - even when challenging decisions have to be made. All the best!

Pros

- Some of the best people I've met in my life have been my teammates at nCino. - If you have a positive attitude, are a good teammate, and are willing to get out of your comfort zone, the sky is the limit for your career growth. - CEO is awesome, very motivating, loved this guy - Recruiting wise, the company and culture makes it an easy sell to candidates. Especially in Wilmington (HQ). - Being in office everyday, the environment is 2nd to none. Fully stocked kitchens, game rooms, treadmills, outside work areas, state of the art office furniture. Just a great place to spend your work day - Solid product that has matured a ton, international growth is exciting for the future. - Company puts money behind what they say is important: Hackathons, professional development, updating compensation structures, employee benefits. Essentially, taking care of their people. I could go on and on, but nCino is truly a great place to grow your career and surround yourself with awesome people. Highly recommend it to anyone interested.

Cons

Not a ton to add here, spent 6 years here and they were the best 6 years of my professional career. Was just time for a change for me. More budget transparency for mid-level managers to understand capabilities for purchasing better tools for their team, team building/lunches, etc...
