Pros
I never feel rushed at work Good pay and benefits (dental/vision/medical) Good opportunities to learn small pieces from the different trades: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and construction Company cares about sustainability, green energy, and corporate social responsibility
Cons
Lots of office work (you can adapt to it) Part of my job was to do a little janitorial work (unclogging toilets, cleaning spills; I didn't mind it too much, but some people might see it as a negative) If you're specialized in a particular trade, the job I had (Faciities Technician) involves so many different tasks that you might not go very deep in your own trade and your skillset might get rusty; I went to school for HVAC, but only about 40 or 50% of my job is directly HVAC-related, so I don't get to practice my skills much, so I'm not necessarily as qualified in the HVAC field as a technician who only does HVAC stuff all day
