Pros

If you're looking for a company where you're treated like family and your work has a true impact on the world, pc/nametag is the company to work for. Right from the start, I have always been treated like family and given the tools I need to be successful. The onboarding process was smooth and made me feel confident that I could start my job on the right foot. You'll never feel alone here. If you need help or additional input on something, there will always be someone around to step up to the plate and lend a helping hand. I took my position with pc/nametag because I was looking for a job where I could continue to grow my professional skills, and my director has taken this seriously. Together, we have made a plan to ensure that I continue to grow as a professional marketer. I appreciate the growth opportunities I've already been given at pc/nametag and I'm excited that the company strives to keep a future-forward mindset. I also appreciate that work/life balance is taken seriously here. Management understands that happy and engaged employees are the most productive employees, and thus take steps to make sure that employees feel satisfied.

Cons

pc/nametag is in the process of pivoting toward a digital-first approach to business. While I am excited to see the website redone and processes revamped, it's going to take a bit of time for pc/nametag to "catch up with the times." Digitalization does not happen overnight, however, and I am happy to see that the company is challenging the way it's done things for over 40 years in favor of more modern approaches.

Pros

A high energy company filled with passionate, knowledgeable and wonderful staff in all departments. The team environment leads to great learning opportunities and partnership which is incredibly fulfilling. In the wake of COVID our business has had to adapt and change pretty significantly, this has really brought out the tenacity and creative nature of everyone. With our offerings hitting a wide range of industries, every day has new and exciting projects to work on. There are also great options for work travel to attend tradeshows and work with our customers face to face. We have a great support system and management team, and I genuinely feel appreciated and heard as an employee. There are many great benefits like lunches catered during busy season, great PTO, weekends free, company parties and so much more.

Cons

We work in a very fast moving and sometimes high stress industry, requiring a high attention to detail and quick thinking.

Pros

Small company encourages flexibility and empowerment.

Cons

Corporate takeover a few years ago emphasizes cost savings a bit too much. Advancement is near impossible.
