Great place to learn, don't expect a career.

Pros

You get to work with major consumer electronic devices and learn other beneficial repair skills If you're franchise, chances are pretty good that the owner is chill. When it's busy, you are busy. lot of repairs.

Cons

A burger flipper or grocery stocker will make more than you. There is insane pressure to hock their "not insurance", and it's on you if you can't meet their sp100 goals. getting hired in will mean that your first week will be dedicated to more quizzes than you have ever taken in school. Minimal PTO (which also counts as sick days fyi) and maybe insurance if you're lucky.

Too corporate

Pros

Great team and you can learn a lot. Plenty of room to grow and be comfortable. Good communication. Decent hourly pay. Benefits.

Cons

Too corporate. Way too sales focused on selling their protection plan which is not a very good plan and is often hard to sell. They set very unrealistic expectations. They care way more about making sales than actual repairs or caring about the customers devices. It has so little to do with helping people with their problems and way more to do with the protection sales. Also the incentives are sold in interviews as a great addition to pay, but unless you get lucky enough to get into a busy store, and/or do shady things and tell lies to make your sales to customers, you likely wouldn't get enough incentive pay to make a difference in your pay to bring your mediocre salary to something actually livable.
