Pros

The co-workers are my store were nice.

Cons

-This is a sales job, don't let them fool you. The job pays less than $15 an hour and they expect you to make up the rest of your salary in commission for their insurance product called Home+. This is pretty much all they care about. They have daily calls where grown adults start yelling excitedly over the sales everyday at 9am. -New Hire training is an absolute waste of 5 weeks. You'll learn more about repairs from your coworkers than you will in the training. It's horrible and only about sales. When you move on to the repairs, the trainers only do 1 hour check-ins daily and the repair training is self-lead online. This training just tells you how to disassemble a phone, not actually repair a screen, battery, or anything else. -Despite it being a core value of the company, the customer service is not "remarkably human." In fact, it's some of the wort customer service I've ever seen. It's an embarrassment to have to try to help customers get a repair when asurion sets up a claim yet mess it up. -The communication is absolutely atrocious when it comes to major changes like store hours. Like 24 hour notice to tell your staff they no longer have consistently schedules. -The benefits aren't that great. They give you lots of options, yes, but they really don't pay much towards your medical insurance. -There are so many mandatory ridiculous calls for leadership to be on that your manager will most likely be on calls for half the day. This leads into the next problem. -This company does not know how to run retail stores. They start each store with only 3 people and expect you to be fine. With only 3 people, you have to stop accepting same-day repairs in the afternoon which angers customers. The phone queue will get backed up and repairs will fall behind the the calls the manager is forced to be one and the occasional issues with diagnostics. However, the store isn't allowed. 4th employee unless it can prove it can make revenue. Yet customers walk away when they hear we can't do same day repairs due to staffing. It's a catch 22.

Pros

This job is absolutely awesome. The work environment give you a large scene of accomplishment especially after a very busy day. I learned so many tips and tricks about repairing technology and the entire staff was amazing.

Cons

The only downside to this job (which varies store to store) is pay sadly. I reached to basically top pay at my store which is $11/hr and I know my manager was making about 13. We all knew we worked for way more and easily could have been paid more but never were. The Owners are super awesome some of the nicest people I have met. But they are a little too greedy with pay for their employees .
