Monday was the first-ever annual Health Workforce Well-Being Day, an opportunity to raise awareness of the sacrifices health care workers make while caring for others. We're shining a sustainability spotlight on our team at Home Health & Hospice Home Care on Franklin Road! They've successfully created a culture of sustainability that begins at onboarding with two educational videos for new hires. Signage and audits help the team stay on track with proper recycling, and Green Stars are awarded to team members seen acting sustainably. Their achievements and activities include collecting over 150 pounds (so far!) of plastic film for recycling, volunteering at Morningside Urban Farm and, most recently, earning a well-deserved Gold Level Greening the Office Certification.
