"During my 31-year career with PSNH and Eversource, the ice storm of 2008 remains the most devastating storm we have faced. Today, as the manager of our Distribution System Operations Center and Troubleshooter organization at Eversource, I look back at that restoration effort with pride, but also at the investments and improvements we have made since then to improve reliability for our customers. From the perspective of both our electric system and our people, service reliability and the efficiency of our response is in a stronger position today than it has ever been." -Don Nourse, manager of distribution system operations http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQOvI

Many of the brave men and women who have served our country are the same people helping to restore your power after a storm. Whether they’re in a bucket truck working on electric lines or taking phone calls from customers, our veterans are empowering their communities every day. We’re proud to honor and thank the hundreds of veterans who work for our company, including the people in these photos. This week, we’ll be highlighting some of our heroes. Keep an eye out for their stories!
