“The most important part of my job is listening to our customers and understanding their concerns, particularly after a devastating storm. It’s really rewarding to be able to provide information that helps put someone at ease. I take the responsibility of empowering our customers with updates throughout a restoration and serving as their voice to heart,” said Stacey Fontaine, a supervisor in our contact center. We're proud to recognize Stacey and all our dedicated employees during National Customer Service Week!
“I’m really passionate about serving our customers and making their day a little better when they reach out to me for help,” said Nancy Leary, a customer service representative in Manchester. We're proud to recognize Nancy and all our dedicated employees during National Customer Service Week!
“We’re here in Connecticut, weathering those same storms with our customers. We empathize with every situation,” said Mary Metevier. With nearly 40 years of combined customer service experience with us, Mary and Rosanna Swift have seen it all. The veteran employees have helped our customers through devastating storms like Hurricane Sandy, back-to-back nor’easters, tornadoes, blizzards and more. Because of their extensive knowledge, Swift and Metevier are now part of a new Customer Resolutions Team – a group of eight highly experienced employees who help the other contact center representatives with everything from handling complicated customer concerns to providing guidance and suggestions on their calls. We’re proud to recognize and empower hardworking customer service reps like Mary and Rosanna during National Customer Service week this week!

What an exciting morning! We attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the UConn Innovation Partnership Building AND announced our continued partnership with UConn! Over the next three years, we plan to make additional investments to the Eversource Energy Center, housed in the UConn Innovation Partnership Building. The energy center has been an amazing tool and helped us with power outage forecasting and forest management. We look forward to powering the possible for another three years with UConn School of Engineering.

Thanks to the great people at Special Olympics New Hampshire for giving our volunteers the opportunity to help organize their storage areas in the Millyard. We especially enjoyed the cookout and cornhole games here at Energy Park! Together with Special Olympics NH, we’re in good company.
