Kinecta Federal Credit Union proudly hosted its sixth annual Defying the Odds Black History Month event on Thursday, February 22, 2024. African American students from Centinela Valley Union High School District, Long Beach Unified School District, El Segundo High School, Environmental Charter High School and Verbum Dei High School participated in the event and heard directly from African American business professionals sharing stories about overcoming adversity to achieve professional success.

Over 120 volunteers came together at the Kinecta Campus in El Segundo, CA to pack over 20k meals for those in need 🍽️💪. Thank you all for taking action and fighting hunger one meal at a time. 🙌

We were delighted to host the ERG Movement for their "The Rules of ERG Engagement Tour" at our Kinecta Campus. During the event, DEI and ERG Program Managers and Leads had the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops, listen to a panel of expert peers, and network during a happy hour mixer. The event, which was open to the community, welcomed over 30 representatives from a diverse range of organizations and industries.
