Project spotlight! The Truckee River Flood Management Project is a joint effort among various stakeholders to reduce the devastating impacts of flooding in the Truckee Meadows in Nevada, and create more resilient communities. As part of this, Kleinfelder provided investigation, review, and design services for the Vista Narrows project – which included approximately 4,000 feet of new levee and 2 miles of terracing to enlarge the Truckee River floodplain downstream of the City of Sparks.
