Resilience is building community 🌎 For Black Futures Month 2023, Miro’s Black Excellence Employee Resource Group partnered with Black artists and Black-owned businesses to make space for joy, mutual care, and collaboration: 🎨 Black Excellence worked with young Black designer Marques Oden to design bold branding for the month 🏆 The ERG teamed up with Box and a Black women-owned small business, to host “Trivia for Us,” a Black history-themed trivia night 🖤 Our LA team volunteered with My Friends House Foundation, a Black woman-owned non-profit supporting Skid Row’s unhoused community 🥗 In our LA and Austin hubs, we catered lunch, treats, and beverages from Black-owned local restaurants and businesses
At Miro, we know our actions can make an impact around the world 💫 Last week, a team of Mironeers at our Sydney hub volunteered their time with Our Big Kitchen, a community initiative that brings meals and support straight to the community. The result was 100 meals, 3 hours of bonding and giving back - and it looked pretty delicious, too! 🥕
