On this day in 2021, we announced our acquisition of six bioethanol plants and two terminals โ the largest in biofuels history. This increased our annual production capacity by 40% virtually overnight, thus launching the next chapter in the POET story. Even as we have evolved, our mission and vision have not changed, and we are proud of our ever-growing, world-class team and their dedication to create a better world by harnessing the power of agriculture and bioproducts. One team. One POET. Three billion gallons strong. #POETproud
โAllowing E15 sales during the summer driving season will not only help increase fuel supply, but support American farmers, strengthen U.S. energy security, and provide relief to drivers across the country." โEPA Administrator Michael Regan On April 28, an emergency waiver was granted to ensure that American consumers have the freedom to fuel with E15 (15% plant-based bioethanol) throughout the summer driving season. The waiver lifts nonsensical seasonal restrictions on the cleaner, cost-saving biofuel blend to keep E15 flowing when Americans need it most. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gq5SMqbQ
