“This is the eighth year we have participated in the Christmas with an Angel program. The children make a list of gifts and school supplies they need, and we provide those gifts as well as a Christmas meal for their families. It’s a great way to give back to those in need in our communities.” –Megan James, administrative coordinator at POET Bioprocessing – Fostoria We're so proud of the many ways our team gives back each year! #POETproud

At POET, giving back is one of our passions. The POET Bioprocessing – Shell Rock team took it upon themselves to spread Christmas cheer through three different holiday-giving initiatives. POET team members chose two wish lists from the Angel Tree Project to fulfill in addition to purchasing, wrapping, and delivering the gifts. The facility also hosted a Toys for Tots box, which team members filled with toys and gifts for local children to be delivered in time for the holiday. Lastly, POET donated turkeys to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. They were given to local families in need to be used for Christmas dinner. We're so proud of the ways our facility locations are giving back and know that it is creating positive change in our communities. #POETproud

“The annual Sioux Falls Cares drive is one of our favorite holiday traditions at POET. We’re dedicated to giving back all year long, but this organization and this time of year will always inspire our team members to go above and beyond.” –Jeff Broin, POET Founder and CEO Sioux Falls Cares runs entirely on volunteers to pack up and deliver packages, so after the donations are collected, many of our POET team members volunteer to help with deliveries as well. Additionally, all 33 bioprocessing facilities across our network participate in their own local holiday efforts, from clothing and food drives to angel trees and Toys for Tots to gift-giving for seniors in assisted living. We encourage you to spread joy and give back in some way this holiday season!
