For the first time, we are expanding our innovative, on-demand manufacturing experience to our outerwear with the introduction of the Custom Packable Jacket. Crafted from recycled fabrics and down-alternative insulation, our new outerwear program gives customers the opportunity to create a personalized jacket. It also reaffirms the Company’s commitment to sustainably source 100% of key materials by 2025, including the use of recycled alternatives. With this expansion of our custom program, Ralph Lauren continues to explore the possibilities of on-demand manufacturing – a model that reduces product waste, better matches inventory to demand and enables rapid fulfillment times, ultimately allowing us to provide a more enhanced experience for our consumers. In partnership with Parity.org and a number of our industry peers, we are proud to mark another step forward along our journey in advocating for and working toward gender parity in fashion. Today, we unveiled a new industry roadmap, “Unlocking Gender Parity in Fashion,” that details an actionable five-point plan, adapted from The Parity Model™, for fashion companies to help achieve the greatest results and impact for advancing gender parity and pay equality. The step-by-step roadmap focuses on best practices for areas that include making a visible commitment, creating a strong executive recruitment strategy, ensuring high-potential women are prepared for executive leadership, improving work-life balance through benefits and pay and sustaining pay parity. These actions can be applied to all levels of an organization, no matter its resources or size. Now is the time to act. Our industry has some distance to travel, but through industry-wide adoption and implementation of the points laid out in this roadmap, we can collectively move the industry further, faster.
This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, hear from Nathalie Crews-Vargo, one of our Production Managers at Ralph Lauren, as she opens up about her breast cancer journey and the support she received from her colleagues. At one of our annual Pink Pony Walks, an employee-led event supporting Ralph Lauren’s global initiative in the fight against cancer, Nathalie’s team came together to raise funds in her name and dedicated their walk to her. “I’ve only known some of these people for such a short time, how could I affect their life that they’d be willing to take the time, the effort and the money to raise funds under my name? That was just so shocking and incredibly generous. I really can’t say thank you enough.” Launched in 2000, contributions to the Pink Pony Fund of the Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation have gone toward programs that help to ensure quality treatment is available and reduce the disparities in cancer care. A little over a year ago, the Fashion Pact was presented at the G7 Summit in Biarritz – a historic moment bringing together industry leaders recognizing the need to set clear, common goals and commitments to safeguard our planet with a focus on climate, biodiversity and oceans. With 32 signatories at its inauguration, the Fashion Pact has since doubled to over 60 signatories, representing 14 countries, and today launched its first progress report on commitments and targets in each of the three areas. Ralph Lauren is proud to be a part of the Fashion Pact as it supports our ongoing journey to Design the Change and the belief that, together with our industry, we can take meaningful actions to create a more beautiful, sustainable world. Every year, our employees gather from around the world for our Pink Pony Walk to support in the fight against cancer and help raise awareness for our Pink Pony initiative. This year, while we won’t be meeting in person, we are coming together by holding our first-ever virtual Pink Pony Walk – our way, during these challenging times, to show our support and solidarity with people affected by cancer. This year, our employees around the world are joining the virtual walk with their Bitmojis and gathering in cities across the globe featuring New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Munich, Tokyo, Shanghai and Seoul. Join us in our cause by visiting the Ralph Lauren Wardrobe on Bitmoji or Snapchat and dressing your Bitmoji in the Pink Pony Polo Shirt. Starting on October 8, 2020 and through the end of the month, for everyone who changes their Bitmoji’s shirt to the Pink Pony Polo Shirt and shares a public post on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or TikTok with #PinkPonyWalk, Ralph Lauren will donate $10 to the Pink Pony Fund of the Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation, up to $200k

We are humbled and honored to be acknowledged as Company of the Year at the annual American Image Awards hosted by the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA). Our President & Chief Executive Officer, Patrice Louvet, accepted the award on behalf of the Company. “Ralph has always said that our business isn’t about making clothes. It’s about dreams. Defining them, bringing them to life and inspiring others to do the same. It’s about having a Purpose, a vision and standing for something,” said Patrice Louvet. “That, I think, is going to shape the kind of future we as companies, and as an industry, create.”
“When someone we love has cancer, we are all affected—husbands, wives, mothers and fathers, sisters, brothers, and friends. This is our effort in the fight against cancer.” - Ralph Lauren For more than 20 years, we have been committed to reducing the gaps and inequities in cancer care through better access to quality treatment. As part of this, we have built long-standing partnerships with cancer charities around the world. Our global Pink Pony campaign is the cornerstone of our fight against cancer, and now, in its 20th year, Pink Pony is recognized for its contributions to raising awareness, encouraging conversation and education as well as driving donations. In this year’s campaign, we are honored to share conversations with luminaries around the world who have been affected by cancer, conversations that are underpinned with messages of love and of hope. By sharing their words, it is our hope to inspire a global conversation. Join us in our fight against cancer: https://lnkd.in/e5us_rq
