This Climate Week, we reinforce our commitment to addressing the issue of climate change – within our business and across our value chain. Specifically, through our Design the Change strategy, we are: - Advancing on our goal to power our owned and operated offices, distribution centers and stores with 100% renewable electricity by 2025, as part of our #RE100 membership - Working towards our science-based target to reduce our absolute GHG emissions across our operations and supply chain by 30 percent by 2030, compared to 2020 levels - Integrating environmental factors in our process for developing and sourcing key raw materials so that 100% of our key materials are sustainably sourced by 2025 In addition, we recognize meaningful change will come from both individual and collective action. We’re proud to be signatories of the #WeAreStillIn declaration and the UN Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action, pledging to limit our emissions in line with the #ParisAgreement goals. We are also members of the The Fashion Pact.
We’re proud to be part of the #TimeToVote movement that has now grown to over 1,000 companies! The nonpartisan, business-led coalition aims to increase voter participation in U.S. elections by giving employees the time and tools they need to cast their ballot. Learn more: maketimetovote.org.

As the Official Outfitter of the US Open hosted in New York City, this year, we are celebrating not only the tennis champions, but also another group of heroes. Polo Ralph Lauren is dedicating its US Open ballperson uniforms to the city’s frontline workers helping in the fight against COVID-19. Each uniform features one of the names of 150 frontline heroes from Mount Sinai Health System written on the back of it. "Ralph Lauren is celebrating a different kind of hero at the tournament this year – the selfless men and women who are risking their lives every single day out on the front lines. The return of the US Open is such an inspirational milestone for New York City, and we wanted to honor the bravery of the frontline workers and the unwavering resiliency of the city in these unprecedented times,” said David Lauren, Vice Chairman & Chief Innovation Officer. We believe civic engagement matters and want to ensure that our team members have the time off and the resources they need to vote — especially when COVID adds complexity to exercising this right. That is why we took the Time to Vote pledge. We declared the U.S. Election Day a Company holiday which means all corporate U.S. employees have paid time off on November 3, with our retail and distribution center employees able to take time off to vote as well, while those working will receive holiday pay. We will also support our employees with information about the options and methods for safe and easy ballot casting. Water stewardship is an integral part of our citizenship and sustainability strategy, Design the Change, and at Ralph Lauren, we are dedicated to reducing our water consumption, as well as safeguarding this vital resource throughout our communities. In light of World Water Week, we are thrilled to share that we are collaborating with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to help progress our efforts in this area. Over the next year, we will work with WWF to analyze the Company’s water footprint and develop strategies to decrease our water consumption. Together, we will also identify opportunities to address water quality and access needs across the communities in which we operate. Through our collaboration, we will advance our goal to reduce our total water use across our operations and value chain by 20% by 2025. In these exceptional times, we remain committed to the goals set forth in our Design the Change strategy. We are continuously learning and building on these goals and commitments, while steadfastly working to create a more equitable and sustainable future for all.

Since 2008, Ralph Lauren has proudly supported Team USA Olympians and Paralympians as an Official Outfitter of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The impact of COVID-19 and the postponement of the Olympic and Paralympic calendar means the continued support of Team USA is incredibly important. Privately funded, Team USA athletes rely on the generosity and support of donations in order to achieve their Olympic and Paralympic dreams. To support Team USA, we are launching a special One Year Out Collection to benefit all of the team’s athletes as they focus on their pursuit of excellence and continue training. 25% of the purchase price of each piece from the collection will be donated to The Team USA Fund, which provides necessary funding for the athletes as they commit to another year of training.
