How can we actively support parents in the workforce, in a way that is realistic and inclusive? Between looking after two children and managing a busy team at work, Jenna understands that a working day can look different for everyone. As a manager, her focus is on ensuring the task at hand is completed on time, rather than if her colleagues are online for the typical 9–5 office hours. Our people-first culture means finding arrangements that work for you. Read more about life at Reckitt.
Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, our Hispanic/Latinx employee resource group, HOLA, held several events that engaged the colleagues of Reckitt in learning about the traditions and contributions of Hispanic and Latinx communities. Events included an employee panel entitled, “Unlocking Potential: Increasing Diversity in Leadership," an engaging presentation by Tanya Ramos-Puig, CEO of The Monique Burr Foundation for Children, Cafecito Connects, and a Leadership Workshop. We are dedicated to continuing to highlight this wonderful community that contributes not only to the success of Reckitt, but to our society every day.
Over 2 million people in the U.S. do not have access to running water of a flushing toilet. The economic impact of this lack of access is astronomical - costing our country $8.58B each year. That's why today, Reckitt is proud to convene a group of experts at Climate Week NYC to discuss how we can collectively tackle the water crisis here in the U.S. Our goal is to build a network of changemakers to further the campaign to reduce household water consumption and achieve more equitable access to water. Learn more about the actions we’re taking to reduce our water footprint.
Did you know there are water shortages in 40 out of 50 states in the US? The American West is facing its longest drought in 1200 years. The Rio Grande, America’s fourth longest river that supports more than 16 million people in the US and Mexico, has been severely impacted, flowing only ankle-deep in some places. This is why Finish is collaborating with National Geographic to raise awareness about the crisis affecting the Rio Grande. Check out the video for more information and to find out how you can make a difference.
We are a truly global organization, with a workforce of 40,000 unique individuals. That’s why inclusion is such an important part of life at Reckitt. Nameer Jamillee (he/him), is our Global Inclusion Manager and he tells us why inclusion means so much to him: “As part of my role, I get to partner with our colleagues to create an inclusive environment which helps all of us thrive to the best of our abilities and be ourselves at work.”
One of the reasons people choose to bring their talents to Reckitt is that they are looking to make a long-term difference in the world. Our people want to build brands that improve lives. Introducing Vanish Oxi Action, our latest innovation in sustainable products. This new formulation, enriched with proprietary science, means you can dial down the temperature of your wash, with no compromise on stain removal performance. This not only protects fabrics and colours, but doubles the life of clothes. A colder wash also means less CO2 emissions per load, and the packaging is made of PCR plastic. Just one example of how our teams work with genuine purpose to bring new products to the world that are not only effective, but better for our world.
Reckitt recently launched our Gender Pay and Inclusion 2022 report, which details the progress we're making towards our gender balance ambition at all management levels by 2030. By listening to colleagues across our global organisation, and delivering training programmes and policies, we’re working to create an inclusive environment where everyone can reach their full potential. Learn more about what we're doing to become more inclusive and gender balanced across our business.

We are proud to be accredited by the global authority on recognising excellence in people practices as one of the certified Top Employers who positively impact the lives of our employees globally. “I’m often asked, how did I find the time to release a book whilst working full time and spending time with my family? I couldn’t do it without my wife. We work as a team in everything we do." Meet Ron Italiano, our Hygiene Global Director of Packaging based in Parsippany, US. Ron has been with us for over 26 years. He recently fulfilled a dream to write and publish his very own book for children with special needs, entitled: “The Special Adventures of Choppy Wow Wow”. The story is a heartwarming tale of a helper dog and a young boy, promoting inclusion, and celebrating diversity.
Black History Month is a time to honor and reflect on the remarkable achievements of African Americans throughout history. At Reckitt, we are celebrating Black History Month and amplifying Black voices. In partnership with our BOLD (Black Organization for Leadership Development) employee resource group, we are dedicated to building an inclusive environment by continuing to support and develop our Black employees, improving engagement within the Black community and amplifying our voice to Black consumers. Black history is American history and while February is reserved for Black History Month, the recognition and celebration of Black History, Black People, and Black Culture is a year-round event.
