We’re excited to share that our very own Rebecca (Becky) Smith will be speaking at this upcoming The Maryland Multi-Housing Association session! Becky’s passion for the multifamily industry, leadership, and training continues to make a meaningful impact across our teams and apartment communities, and we’re proud to see her sharing that expertise with others in the industry.
We’re excited to share the official completion of WPM’s newest apartment community, West End Place. Our team joined Washington Place Equities, project partners, local leaders, and guests to celebrate the transformation of the former St. Joseph’s Hospital into a vibrant new apartment community that seamlessly blends modern living with the history and character of Lancaster. We’re proud to be part of a project that honors the past while creating a welcoming place for future residents to call home. Thank you to everyone whose hard work, collaboration, and vision helped bring West End Place to life.
Last week, WPM's very own Kristen Centeno Zajdel led a session at Maryland Multi-housing Association's Leasing Training Academy. Kristen shared her inspiring journey in property management, gave real-world insight into the industry, and answered thoughtful questions from the program's future leasing professionals. Her experience and advice helped students see the leasing role through the eyes of a Property Manager — and left them motivated for what’s ahead! Way to go, Kristen!
Last week, our associates joined a Birthday Kit Packing Party hosted by WPM’s Community Impact Committee in support of the Baltimore Hunger Project. Together, we assembled birthday kits filled with all the essentials to help make sure children experiencing food insecurity can still celebrate their special day. The Baltimore Hunger Project works to provide weekend meals and resources to children in need, helping bridge the gap when school meals aren’t available. We’re proud to support their mission and be part of something that brings both nourishment and joy to local families. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event so meaningful!
WPM Real Estate Management is pleased to welcome Deer Ridge Terrace Condominium, Inc., in Baltimore to our portfolio, effective April 1. Located in the Roland Park neighborhood, this established community includes a mix of mid-rise condominiums and townhomes. We’re proud to partner with the Board as we begin working together on key community priorities.
Our Community Impact Committee’s 2026 Silent Auction benefiting United Way raised an amazing $6,000 — and it wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity and support of our partners and Associates. A special thank you to the many vendors who donated items and baskets. Your contributions made a meaningful impact and helped bring this event to life. We’re grateful to everyone who participated, supported, and continues to help us make a difference in the communities we serve.
Today, WPM hosted our annual Service Managers’ Day at Oriole Park at Camden Yards ⚾ This is one of our favorite traditions and a great chance to celebrate the hardworking leaders of our Multifamily Service teams with great food, great company, and a day at the ballpark. We’re so grateful for everything our Service Managers do every day to support our communities and residents. Today was all about you!
Exciting progress is happening at West End Place in Lancaster, PA! As this brand-new apartment community continues to take shape, our team is proud to have been involved with this project. Formerly St. Joseph’s Hospital, West End Place is even more meaningful because is it an adaptive reuse project bringing life back to a building that has served the community for many decades. With preleasing underway, we’ve officially started hard hat tours giving future residents a first look at what’s to come. With first move-ins approaching this May, the momentum is building! From early involvement in planning and design to leading a successful lease-up, WPM is committed to helping deliver long-term value for our clients and investors while creating an exceptional experience for future residents.
Our team was on the ground last week at Entrata Base Camp—investing in what matters most: continuous learning, innovation, and delivering an even better experience for our clients and residents. At WPM, we believe exceptional management starts with a commitment to growth. By staying ahead of industry trends and continuously sharpening our skills, we’re able to bring fresh ideas, smarter solutions, and a higher level of service to every apartment community we support. We’re proud to keep growing, learning, and bringing new ideas back to our communities.
