Anonymous Operations Supervisor

What a joke! The company only matches 50% up to 4% of your contributions and they don't match UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR! So you contribute all year long and you get your company match ONLY if you are employed and contributing come 12/31. If you take a withdrawal, you are suspended from contributions and matches for 6 months. You are better off investing in a Roth IRA, Traditional IRA or in the Stock Market. CSC is not the place to retire.

3% matched is a mediocre amount for such a large, worldwide corporation that has billions in revenue.

The good thing is that the match amount is decent (50% match for up to 6% of salary). The bad thing is that the match isn't vested until the beginning of the following calendar year and if you are not an employee on Dec 31 you lose the match for the entire year.
