"They are very understanding when it comes to asking for a sick day or an emergency comes up. There are many other student workers that can fill the spot so it's easy for them to find a replacement for the shift."

Benefits were great. While working as a teaching assistant, I received health benefits. No paid time off. It was a part time job.

Mutual Fund options, high end eye and dental insurance, great choices of medical, but the costs go up dramatically annually, attorney assistance. They do NOT pay into state disability; it is a private company.

Great health insurance and gym access. No other benefits for a student though.

Ample vacation time, separate from the sick time which is rare nowadays. Company matched the 403 (k) which is similar to 401(k) but for educational institutions.
Medical Insurance was compatible. Great benefits for Post docs.

There are numerous benefit programs to choose from. I am very happy with the options offered.
