Wurk interview questions

I was contacted by an agency recruiter about this opportunity and was not actively looking for a position. The organization requested I participate in multiple screenings and interviews only to let me know they decided they didn’t have budget for a senior-level marketer and would be starting their search over for someone more junior. Wurk then came back and said they basically made an error and would love to discuss the position with me again and even labeled me as a top candidate. I was open minded and agreed to come back into the search. The CEO asked me about comp and told the recruiter we could make something work. To my surprise, my interview with the new CFO (old CFO left during this process) was cancelled 5 minutes beforehand. He didn’t even have the courtesy to let me know he wasn’t showing up. He emailed the agency recruiter while I was waiting on the zoom. The CEO did not reach out with an explanation or apology. This organization does not have their act together. Overall, this was an awful candidate experience, especially for an HR Tech company! I can’t imagine what it must be like working there after all of this.
