Pros

1Password is renowned for its robust brand identity and compelling product offerings, which consistently receive high praise and admiration from its customer base.

Cons

It has become increasingly evident that there are significant challenges within the data team's culture. A notable absence of clear leadership and defined goals has been observed, alongside a deficiency in best practices, people management, and industry-specific knowledge in analytics. The team primarily focuses on addressing technical debt and immediate problem-solving, often under the strain of unrealistic deadlines. Additionally, the recent introduction of an on-call system to manage these issues does not facilitate a sustainable solution or address the root causes of these challenges. Promotion is unrealistic and the process is misleading.

Not great but not bad

Pros

- Very friendly, smart, respectable people to work with - Great product and continues to grow - Fair pay and benefits - Remote and flexible working environments

Cons

- People are penalized for making mistakes, creating an anti-mistakes culture (including new employees). Everyone is pointing fingers first rather than resolving as a team. - Employees are being over-worked resulting in burn out - Many reviews here may be manipulated, as HR asks all new employees to make a review

Lost & Getting Worse

Pros

Good brand recognition and work is remote.

Cons

No chance to make money in sales outside of the SMB segment. Commoditized products - just a race to the bottom with competition these days. Salary bands below market and comp plan is designed to minimize payouts. No investment in reps for training, industry education, or to meet prospects, but expectations for us to sell like a mature sales-org. Benefits are getting increasingly worse, home office benefit is just a small portion added to your pay once per quarter... RevOps has free reign to change what they like, doesn't take feedback, making work very inefficient. Doesn't seem like they do any due diligence before acquiring companies.
