Pros
I am currently working here at 51 talk for Three (3) months now! So far so good! It taught me everything I need to know about adjustments. They have recently removed the 10% Tax which I think is a pretty good change. I messed up big time on my first day for missing 3 classes, that's 900 PhP.. I have not missed any classes since then. It somehow taught me the proper time management, which for me is a productive thing to learn.
This is only my part time job, however it teaches me a lot of things, from enhancing my communication skills to teaching strategy. My students appreciate what I am doing and I do the same for them! It is a win-win situation for me!
In my case, the support team is very considerate! They may seem invisible (since you are always on your own when doing your task) but expect them to be there in dire times like missing your classes, unpressed start button, etc... I like them for they don't just do their job by keeping the system up and running, they also give you tips on how to avoid missing classes by some "inside" information. You just have to be open and friendly enough to get their attention and favor.
This is a perfect for people who already have a job but has a lot of spare time, you know, for some productive tasks! :)
Cons
- 10% Withholding tax before.. But it has been already cancelled so YAY!
- verrrrryyyy long promotional traiinniing!! Can they just do a video presentation for that? :D
