Pros

Great people, especially those who have been with the company for at least two years or more. Company is growing Free lunch Wednesdays Free breakfast Fridays Snacks throughout the week Dental and Eye premiums covered 100%, but don't start until the 1st of the following month after your start date. Fast Start program to get new hires up to speed on the company's products and vision. Execs all sit in the open office environment just like everyone else. Letter of intent has been signed for a new building being built right next to Avaya Stadium.

Cons

Company has been around for 30 years, but runs like a start-up. Management/Upper management very demanding and condescending. Have unrealistic expectations to be achieved in an even more unrealistic time frame. Very chaotic and noisy open work environment. Constant fires, line down, production bugs, etc. No standard in terms of software, tools and versions being used across teams and geos. No work/life balance. Health benefit options not the greatest. 401k matching not the greatest either. Lots of restrictions in terms of sick days, when you get them and when they can be used. Can only borrow ahead 1 day for PTO, rest will have to taken as unpaid leave if you don't have enough to cover. CEO expects employees to put the company first, team second, and themselves third.

Pros

Pockets of really smart people who care.

Cons

1. Strategy changes as the wind blows or as a new "leader" is hired since the Exec Staff is a revolving door. 2. 8x8 missed one of the greatest bull markets over the past 2 years...can't have success when leadership isn't aligned. 3. Zero incentive for middle management to voice concerns or recommend ideas to solve systemic problems. You speak up, you get fired. 4. Marketing, Sales and Channel Leadership has no idea what they are doing. This is a consistent theme from current and former employees along with business partners. 5. If growing revenue and 25% YOY growth is the goal (as stated in the earnings calls), you don't have the right people running the company in critical departments to achieve those targets.

Thank you for your time at 8x8. Often times with rapid growth there is change and growing pains. At the end of the day 8x8 is ultimately one global team, and we encourage all of our employees to provide input to better our products and company. We love to hear feedback from our employees, and recently launched an employee health survey company wide to gather insights on their thoughts about the company and how they feel about working here. Again thank you for your time at 8x8!

Pros

Free food every Wednesdays, but the food is very unhealthy

Cons

Weak Benefits. Support that has been there for years. Lack of growth and incompetent mgmt. Software is horrible and instead of correcting the issue, it gets passed around until the customer gives up or cancels.
