35 Year Old Company that Needs to Stop Claiming to Be a Start Up
Pros
Work From Home is supported from a product and policy perspective. Granted, there is no compensation for home office connectivity.
Cons
Incredibly toxic environment. No loyalty to dedicated employees, all the money and acclaim goes to the CEO's pals that he's recruited from his old job over the last year. This gang has ruined not only 8x8, but also Fuze, in about a year. Products are no longer competitive, yet company believes they are highly valuable. Support infrastructure is embarrassing. Customers and partners are treated like cattle. 75% of the company claims to be "not customer facing" meaning they do not speak with anyone externally - yet this is a service business? Other than a quarterly all-hands with the C-Suite, there is virtually no department level communication. Most people have absolutely no idea what is going on anymore.
