There is no work life balance! 8x8 does not have a good culture for people who want to have a life. Not to mention the sexism of some directors that clearly have the “boys club” and the start up micromanaging mentality. Made good money but wasn’t happy. Spent more time reporting every second of my day than actually building strategic partnerships.

I worked in SMB Sales, with the most dysfunctional group -including supervisor & managers. Constant yelling & cursing throughout office. It was difficult to have conversations with the yelling or laughing loudly on sales floor- very unprofessional environment. Horrible work life balance- paid hourly & you need to be there to get the leads so overtime is pretty much required to have a chance at meeting quota. Employees there are unhappy about their jobs & they put down their work constantly. Unhealthy environment-long hours+They feed you junk food and cans of lots of energy drinks at end of month so you can work even longer hours. Pay is not competitive. Meeting quota is stressful. Departments are not cohesive. Do NOT recommend Sales SMB at all.! Save your time, health and sanity & look elsewhere!
