      Pros

      Bevan is a CEO who knows this market and is passionate about growing the company. He's hired some great executives to help him along, and bringing best practices to my role has seen real results already. Pay is competitive and if you bring your A game, you'll be rewarded for it.

      Cons

      It's an older company undergoing some major change, and there are some entrenched stakeholders. Sometimes operational needs take a back seat to velocity.

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your time at AAPC. I'm sorry you didn't have a great experience during your time here. Nothing is harder than making the decision to ask someone to leave the company, but as you know, we give any employee who underperforms the opportunity to address the issues. Related to your comments, our Open PTO policy is designed to inform all employees who is “out of office” so we can ensure continuity of business. Unfortunately, when an employee takes advantage of Open PTO or Working From Home, we have to place restrictions on an individual basis.       Pros

      There is a great sense of community, supportive coworkers, advancement and growth encouraged by management, and an overall fun place to work. There is a sense of loyalty and people tend to stay because of the above. The CEO and other executive management encourage transparency and make this (in my opinion) a great place to work.

      Cons

      Location is a little remote.
