Pros

- You can make good money - Large organization with lots of room for growth - Fast-paced job that keeps things exciting

Cons

- ADP sales policies are set up in such a way that inside sales, existing business, and new business all fight over the same account. Shady practices on behalf of sales people to get their cut get ignored, and these behaviours are actually encouraged by the way the system is set up. You're constantly fighting to keep your accounts, and the internal competition is far more cutthroat than the external competition - Constant stress and long hours because of the first point. - The motto "win as one" sounds great, but again, see the first point. It's more "every person for themselves." - Time needed to be spent on non-sales related activities is about 4:1 because of the constand need to defend your territory from other ADP reps, inadequate technology, cumbersome processes, and a constant deluge of busy work tasks pushed from management.

Pros

coworkers who are willing to help; employees are provided w/ generally organized procedures to refer to when when answering clients' questions; good employee benefits; manages and team leads try to include fun activities to help brighten the day; I learned something new every day; pay is decent.

Cons

mental stress. Potential advancement comes from quality and production numbers of amount of chats you take per day. This can be expected in call center type environments, however some of the department's processes can prevent you from meeting the required stats in the way that works best for you, so in reality, my success was not completely left up to me which I personally didn't like. This is a great job for people who are fueled by competition. However for those of us who love more of quality and handling client issues for resolution/following through with clients to ensure their matter is resolved, this type of job may drain your energy with having to meet production stats. This job will definitely keep you on your toes (mentally).
