Pros

You will meet some cool people, bond over your dislike for the company and all the games they play. Lots to laugh at on a daily basis. A paycheck. Watch leadership fail and flop around daily but constantly tell one another during meetings how amazing they are (comical). Funny to see a lot of lifers here with no willingness to accept other concepts outside of ADP exist and could improve processes/functions/operations because they've been here 10, 15, 20+ years and have the "we've always done it this was since 2001" mindset.

Cons

Wow not sure where to begin with this thesis. Leadership is a mean girls club all the way to the GM and back down to line managers. Way too many unnecessary layers of management. Below market wages which cause monthly turnover from every department. Even before covid people left after 6 to 12 months. Irate clients are allowed to disrespect you ADP does not care what they say as long as they are making money. You are a call center operator. Promotions can be totally random and usually based on favoritism and not skill. If you are not on leaderships good side your career will be stifled, forever, regardless of your performance. Men are treated way better than women. Bonuses and raises are also heavily based on favoritism and not on actual performance. So if you decide to work here make sure management as a whole likes you or you will be screwed indefinitely. Kpis are impossible to keep up with and change frequently with poor communication. If you question anything you will be on the naughty list and the mean girls club will ensure you know it!

ADP doesn't care

Pros

Coworkers are always available to help you when needed. Training is excellent.

Cons

Forcing employees to go back in the office when we have proved ourselves working from home for over a year. Employees leaving to go to other companies so they could continue to work from home. Takes away our home life balance. Deductibles way to high on insurance.

Pros

Option to work remotely during Covid Gym and cafeteria on office location Great 11 Week training program to prep you for your job The work itself is enjoyable Potential bonuses (depending on department performance) It COULD offer you a great work life balance (see cons and comments for reasons on my phrasing)

Cons

They do not give you a workload that can be done in a 40 hour work week Discouraged OT during Covid, but expected you to complete all your work within a 40 hour work week. You may think the 40K they are offering you is great, until you hear that a few years back, the tenure employees (Earning an average of 50k for the work) were given forced retirement. They hired in a brand new, younger workforce at A LOT less of a salary (40k). Just keep that in mind Because of the workload, it may require some employees to work off the clock. The company plays dumb about this, but they definitely know it’s going on (This is illegal on the companies part)
