Good and bad

Pros

The good thing about Ars is that you can make a lot of money. They are also pretty flexible about their schedules, so if you need to leave early or something they will usually work with you. It can be a pretty friendly work environment as long as you stay away from the gossip and drama.

Cons

I'd have to say the worse thing that is very well known about Ars is that they will work you like a dog. I have been there a really long time so it doesn't really bother me as much now, but I see a lot of people come and go because of the hours. Having a family can be difficult so be forewarned. One of my biggest pet pives is the dispatch. They talk to/treat the techs like crap and think they are the tech's bosses.

Pros

The workload is pretty steady as this organization is in a very "needed" sector. If you like to stay busy, you can easily, and they do pay you for your time. Full time employees receive a very fair UNH benefit package, and overtime is a must if you want to bank the money. With the cultures turn over the way it is, they will pay you to do more for a while before they replace any position. But you will get tired.

Cons

This organization fosters a very aggressive Sales culture as opposed to a service culture which would coincide with their marketing. There is a lot of finger pointing, ego`s, and insecurities at every level of the company. No one cares about the workload you are required to do, until your finished with the task that they assigned priority to, then wonder in amazement that you are not 2 people and could not finish both at the same time. Then your on the "list", and you better sell something even if your not in"sales", if you want to keep your job, or at list get off the list for a day. Hiring and firing do to lack of training is the name of the game.

Pros

you can make a lot of money, if you know how to sell stuff or are ok with swindling people

Cons

management prefers "techs" that are good at sales or swindling, they give them preferential treatment. If you are an actual technician and are trying to help people without just ripping them off you will be stuck going on warranty calls to fix the swindlers mistakes for peanuts.

Great Company to Earn Money

Pros

Company Phone, Paid Training and Advancement opportunities, Good Benefits, 20 company paid PTO/Holidays a year. Company matches a percentage of my 401k contributions. Earn great money, do not get capped at an hourly rate, earn on performance.

Cons

The downsides fall within the industry. We are Residential, so we need to be available when the customers are, that means we will be working some weekends, long hours and holidays - but again we get paid well for it.

Pros

I have been with ARS for 9 months. Overall, I have had a positive experience. If you have the flexibility and are looking for upward movement, we have that. My management values hard work and professionalism. Giving back to the community and only providing superior service to our customers. Great opportunity to earn here. You receive a company vehicle and company gas card so miles don't have to go to personal work trucks. I am happy to have Medical benefits offered. Also I put towards my 401k and the company matches that up to a certain percent. I make good money here.

Cons

We are busy, but I make more money that way and I am prideful to go back to my family with the ability to provide for them.

Pros

You will always be working none stop even on mild weather days. The dispatch will make sure you will work till you drop. You will get to know some great people but they don't last very long.

Cons

This place have no hope. They need to clean house and rehire all the dead weight With people who have average or above average IQ. You are just a number. No matter now good of a tech you are or how much money you make for the company don't expect any breaks. If your number is good and you are a good tech they will work you non stop. And you end up quiting. If you are non of the above you will be let go. Conclusion nobody will fit in this company. I will go else where. I will take my talent, great customer service skills and make lots of money for a company that will respect me and treat me like a talented tech and a great producer.
