We provide a service that people need during the winter and summer our company is the ones who come to the rescue when there is a elderly person with no heat

Cons

We tend to have people who are up set because there system is still not working after we went out to do a repair on top of the fact they are hot or cold and may have kids or elderly people who live there as well

I've been with ARS for a year and it's such a great company to work for. A very busy work day, every day. Open communication is welcome and there are always multiple people available to ask questions of when you're new. We focus on cross-training and helping other departments.

Cons

Not truly a con, but you'll need to be a driven type of person who isn't simply repetitive task-oriented in order to succeed. We meet our deadlines and we push, push, push for growth. There's no sitting dormant here!

I've read some of the negative reviews, but that hasn't been my experience at all. This is a tough industry to be in, but the people that work here really care about the customers and each other. I've also found that senior leadership truly cares about the people that work here. Give ARS a chance - many more improvements are coming!

Cons

The company is going through some growing pains but leadership has a clear vision for the future.

I have worked for ARS close to 10 years and I have to say "It is a great company to work for"! The people are phenominal, there is opportunity for growth/promotion, and the company is very involved in the communities it serves all over the US. ARS has its values in the right place and is continuing to experience growth. The future looks very bright here!

Most days are good days. Nothing is perfect, but I don't really have anything to complain about.

Some of the techs are cool and some coworkers as well. Getting paid is one of the only pros. As I said, some good people.

Cons

This company will work you like a dog. And pay you less then everyone else! The classify DISPATCHERS and CSRs as two different things. If you are a CSR, expect to be treated like the lowest level employee for the entire company. They don't give a hoot about he CSR. BUT, get this, the CSR does TWICE as much work as the dispatchers. And get paid less. You have to dispatch and you have to deal with almost all of the customer complaints because customer service "manager" will pawn off all of her work on you. I worked 6 days a week for 90% of the time I was there and I was paid less then everyone else. I'm sure some branches are good to work for. But I would never recommend working for the riverside branch.
