Little room to mess up, lots of room to get fired

Pros

I loved the people I worked with! I loved the trainers and all the managers I had. Full weeks paid vacation, overtime when it comes out, own work desk, lunch breaks were an hour long, two 15 breaks, looks GREAT on a resume.

Cons

They have the 8 point system and if you mess up multiple times, it can get up to termination. FMLA and ADA is very hard to get and it's a process that can take up to weeks. Reason people get fired is the point system. If you don't come in for something severe, it will count against you.

Pros

If you work 6 days/week and about 14-16 hours/day you'll end the year with a moderate income. You'll make far less than the bean counters sitting in the office but you'll be able to eat well.

Cons

You get 5 sick days. If you use all 5 you'll be fired. company policy is that if you are sick you still need to come to work. If you can't move, someone will have to carry you to work. At that point, if management sends you home you might be wrote up for being sick or injured or you might be sent home with one of your vacation days being used. You will be treated like cattle. There can be zero respect from management. You are required to make U-verse seem like the greatest thing ever to your costumers and teach them everything there is to know about it and have them download 2 apps and teach them everything about them in 15 minutes. If you actually care about your customers, you won't meet your numbers and therefore won't have a job anymore.

Changing the environment of cellular companies.

Pros

Very cutting edge corporation with a renewed focus on customer satisfaction. I was a former disgruntled customer who found that the changes and new direction are beyond refreshing.

Cons

A great deal of people taking surveys are unaware of the impact of a "middle score" on an individual. While they believe it will change the big corporation to their advantage, all it really does is hurt the last person who actually helped them.
