Thank you for your review. As I have noted in other reviews, I understand clearly that you feel we don't pay team members what they're worth and I appreciate you speaking up about it here on Glassdoor.com. As quoted from another review I just posted: "we evaluate and adjust compensation regularly (annually at a minimum), including having used a consultant to help with that in the past, but we still have team members feeling undervalued. Our efforts in this area are, and always will be, on-going and as result of the feedback we have received from team members through surveys, face-to-face communications and other avenues (like Glassdoor.com) that we are missing the mark on compensation, we just hired a VP of Total Rewards in June to be an in-house resource to continuously examine and ensure our compensation is fair and competitive for every market in which we operate. They will spearhead our compensation evaluation efforts and compensation adjustments more completely - and I expect with more satisfactory results - than our previous efforts." The work at Access in many positions is quite challenging and I am sorry if that wasn't made clear to you prior to your employment. Many of the positions in our facilities or on the road involve regular and repeated heavy lifting, operating of heavy equipment, etc. We do keep regular maintenance on our vehicles, so I am disappointed to hear that you think we have poor maintenance on our trucks. Thank you for your feedback and for posting a review. I read each and every comment and take value from all of the responses we receive. I also apologize for the delay in responding to your review; I aspire to post responses in a more timely manner. You're not alone in feeling that we don't pay team members what they're worth - and I simply don't like that our team members feel that way. While we have evaluated compensation regularly, including making numerous market compensation adjustments in addition to regular annual merit based increases in the past few years, we clearly have team members feeling undervalued. Our efforts in this area are, and always will be, on-going. Part of our evolution here includes bringing in senior Human Resources leadership to examine and ensure our compensation is fair and competitive for every market in which we operate. In fact, we just hired a VP of Total Rewards in June to spearhead this effort more completely - and hopefully with more satisfactory results - than our previous efforts. Many of our team members find value in our social events and community and charitable activities. I believe strongly in these and we will continue to be active members of our communities and encourage teams to host social events - like the parties you note - to provide opportunities to get to know your fellow team members better and to build stronger teams. I hope that you can come to appreciate those opportunities and please know that I don't view social events as an offset to providing additional compensation for team members. Not worth the time

Pros

The pay is probably the only good thing here

If I could give this company a negative rating I would. The Peabody office is unprofessional. The guy who runs the floor doesn’t know what he’s doing, only hires people he “gets along” with, doesn’t matter of the experience.

Thanks for taking the time to post this review. I am very sorry that your experience at Access is as you describe in this review and I do appreciate the time that you put into writing this review. We have been investing a lot of time into the Peabody client experience office and team lately, including a large group of Access leaders spending time participating on calls with clients and a couple of town hall meetings that both I and the co-founder and President of the company attended. So, please know, as I am sure you have noticed (assuming you’re still here) in the past few months, that we are committed to improvements here. We also just hired a new Chief Operating Officer of North American Records and Information Management who has an incredible amount of experience in our industry, but also specifically with client experience and call centers. I am sure she will have a positive impact here as well.
