Pros

Easy to apply and get hired. Lots of variety in your daily routine and you can make your own schedule within regular business hours. They do compensate you for driving.

Cons

You must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive everywhere. You will receive tons of marketing material that you have to take to various locations and this can be very bulky at times. Their training doesn't prepare you for the many varied challenges you will face in the field and the customer support call center is on east coast time. Even though you make your own schedule it's best to work early in the day. You must have a reliable car and it needs to be large enough to carry large boxes of marketing materials. To many boxes of mail to manage and some can be quite large.

Pros

The role is similar to other sales rep roles, it's pretty easy to get used to as long as youre comfortable with talking to people. Youre assigned a retail location where you advocate a brand by conducting demos, sales, and trainings. Because you're only responsible for one brand out of the store you don't usually get that many customers so you take your time with each person. I've been on 3 projects with Actionlink and all the managers I've had are good people who've been understanding and helpful.

Cons

Actionlink suffers from the same problems as many others, and that's that finding full time hours and new projects isn't always consistent. During off-seasons they mostly just have part time work, or roles that require large amounts of driving between multiple locations which can be hard to sustain.
