Pros

the job I was given was great. it paid well (at least when they paid). however, 2 months into my employment I was told that everyone in my field would be loosing their job.

Cons

the cons are, that the will let you go from your job very quickly without much warning. and they do not pay what they promise, when they promise. paychecks are ALWAYS late, and usually not correct.

Management not exactly straightforward

Pros

Beats being unemployed. Everything is on the cheap. On-line training is puerile and very inconsistent. Morale is not good. You are expected to supply everything: internet, computer, printer, car, gas, smartphone and/or camera. Reps are disposable here. Don't quit your day job.

Cons

Pay--recently gave everyone a 10% cut in pay "to be more competitive" with the other rep companies. Went from $10 an hour to $16.xx. Now it's the Christmas season and they are hiring new bodies at $18 an hour--but did not restore our pay cut. Human Resources--spelled nepotism

Pros

Great upward mobility (to a point) Freedom for truly capable managers to shine Competitive pay with very flexible work schedule - worked from home! REALLY loved a few of the senior managers Many very cool projects

Cons

No job security - I was one of the top managers nationally and was still laid off and rehired 3x before leaving Constantly hiring/training and then firing your hourly employees - extremely high turnover makes for low-investment workforce in the stores Invariably you end up training in big-box retail stores during the holidays, very stressful Lots of travel for most jobs
