Pros

Amazing co-workers Good benefits with the split vacation / sick time Halfway decent medical insurance coverage Covid-19 responsiveness and employee understanding was the best.

Cons

Don’t expect senior leaders to take anything to heart. They’ll listen and ignore. Don’t expect career growth, that’s gone out the window. Don’t expect to avoid layoffs. Don’t expect to have the consumer choice of where you bank - they’ve made it a requirement to bolster membership growth - don’t think it’s truly “free” because if you choice not to use the account it will get hit with a dormant account fee - then don’t expect to get that fee refunded without ending up on the employee bad list SRMGMT reviews - then don’t expect not to ultimately get written up or possibly terminated if you have that not-desired-not-used account go negative. It’s a lose-lose. The long-time, quality, employees get shoved into dead end roles for speaking out against politics. The long-time, submissive brown-nosers, get rewarded and job protection. If you think you can make change, go somewhere else, they don’t want you to challenge the status quo unless they come up with the solution. Prepare for your work to go unrecognized. Best advice received from a coworker: work your wage. Let things fail, then they’ll have to act.

Thank you for your candid feedback. All of our team members are very important and our higher tenured team members have a very valuable viewpoint as well. While you have provided a large amount of issues, a couple in particular stand out. Bank Account Requirement: We implemented the requirement for having a bank account with Addition Financial ahead of testing our new digital banking platform. We are so mission-focused on having the best member experience possible that we wanted the entire team at Addition Financial to experience the new product and help test it so that there are no issues once our members begin using it. The requirement to have an account is only in place when there are new upgrades to test with our banking technology. Giving Feedback & Action: Without specifics, you have decided that speaking up has negative impacts. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Feedback and open communication are encouraged and frankly is one characteristic of promotability. What may be frustrating to some is the focus on performance and bringing your "A game" every day. Any feedback that is productive around how to do work better, smarter, faster, and at higher service levels for our members is always listened to and actioned in some productive way. Negative accusations without source or accuracy tend not to be acknowledged. Please reach out to your manger, senior leader, or to your HR Business Partner to share your thoughts so that we can all work together to improve the situations you may be seeing.

Pros

The people who work there are very nice and some people are really innovative at what they do. Not a bad place to get started in your career, decent opportunities for growth. Vacation was a little low, but decent health benefits.

Cons

They rescinded hybrid work, so it is all in person. They consistently underpay for the industry range, which they are attempting to address but takes time. Upper leadership is not interested in hearing or dealing with people at the lower levels, especially in times of change or unhappiness. The CEO presents as an approachable guy who wants anyone to bring him any concern but has zero interest in actually following through with that persona.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. At Addition Financial, we strive to provide our operations teams with the highest level of support as they in turn drive the important relationship with our members. Many companies are making the decision to adjust their remote work and what makes the most sense for our business is to be present daily to help drive that level of service where it matters most, to our members. Our leadership takes great efforts to understand what the team member experience through our cultural survey, CEO listening tours, and the daily structure of support with managers and support teams. That feedback is carefully consumed and organized to have a holistic picture of the "landscape" and action items are identified, solved, and closed.

Thank you for sharing feedback. It is concerning to hear that this is your experience and to better understand it, please reach out to your senior leader or to your HR Business Partner to ensure explanation or action as required. There have been very significant strides in communication from our quarterly Financial Review on our live company-wide live podcast as well as monthly updates on the bonus program through newsletters and the Strategic Compass bonus dashboard. Our very own CEO has frequently shared updates, encouragements, and direction as we have navigated the past year. With your detailed feedback to your management and to HR, it is certain that things will continue to be clear and productive.
