This review is for the purchasing department specifically, the department is deeply flawed and broken (and the 20% turnover rate confirms this) - Rankings (Adient-wide) are forced, therefore every year someone on the team has to be considered a low performer no matter what and this results in no merit raise or bonus - Last year, all top performers throughout the entire department were white males (exception of 1 person) despite the department being 50/50 male vs. woman - All (but 1 person recently hired) in leadership is white male in the department - There is no flexibility in the department, no ability to work from home, leadership (director level) confirmed that any time spent working nights and weekends does not count as your “working hours” and your butt must be in your seat at work for the hours to count - Men are consistently paid higher than women (this is not a general statement, multiple data points to back this up) - The company overall is under performing (stock price from $85 > $17), if you google Adient you will see the lawsuits against Adient, therefore the likelihood of a bonus is slim to none, so do not consider this in an offer if they provide one
