Pros

Friendly co-workers and staff.

Cons

Poor management, don't live the mission or vision of the organization, poor benefits, and serious under staffing issues that create patient safety issues. Lack of opportunity to move up unless you're part of the organizations church denomination. Only religious tie is by the name only, just the same as any other hospital out there.

Pros

Good pay compared to area clinical laboratories. Florida Hospital is a good organization to work for. Good benefits, wonderful patient care and community involvement.

Cons

Poor management of the lab. Scratch that...horrible management. The worst I've ever had to deal with and I've been working in clinical labs for over 10 years. Because of this Carrollwood lab is chronically understaffed. Went from bad to worse with management. After new management took over early last year 8 employees left. I heard 2 more are in the process of leaving. This is a huge percentage of the lab staff. Didn't realize just how unhappy I was there until I found my current position. I was willing to take a small pay cut just to get out of there.
