Pros

Advocate is a great opportunity for someone entering the workforce for the first time or just looking for a career change, the Managers at Advocate train you to work with homeowners to help repair their homes. I learned so many new sales techniques and how to deal with customers overall, I left to a civil position but otherwise this is great place to work, get some exercise and meet some great people.

Cons

Sometimes hours requirements Monday - Friday can leave for less free time, but otherwise still very flexible when needed.

Pros

As a Claims Advocate, you have the opportunity to not only help people increase the safety of their family but reinforce the safety of their home. You ultimately have the liberty to set your own salary ceiling and the freedom to work independently. The in-house training that accompanies this position produces a skill set that would be paramount in any walk of life, be it personal or business.

Cons

I can't attribute cons of the business to the company itself. The only con may be the work-life balance because the commitment is very demanding; however, management does disclaim this during the interview process.
