Pros

Attempting to upgrade technology in the workplace

Cons

Management support and communication were severely lacking. Job expectations were never communicated and I was given several clients without any notice. Working from home actually made things worse despite the company saying it made things better...being tethered to your laptop all the time is not my idea of improvement. Also, "mental-health" days were a joke...I always ended up working on those days.

Thank you for the feedback. It sounds as though Agero just wanted the right fit for you. On the topic of communication, each of the issues you raised are solvable via a conversation with your manager and/or HR. Job alignment, working on vacation days and effectively working from home are all topics everyone is facing to some degree during Covid but are only addressable if you actively communicate and work to resolve them in partnership with your manager.

Pros

Decent pay for WFH, Weekends off that is about it.

Cons

Been here a week...looking for something else after the 3rd day, the training is all over the place at times I think the trainer was very confused as well, and then after a so called week of "training" you get thrown to the wolves on the phones with angry callers not knowing what to do or where to look for assistance with the "job aids" or the "university" you are suppose to have support while in "nesting" but haha what a joke I had someone on hold for 53 min. and still didn't get help when our nesting mentors did answer it was very short not really addressing the issue the answer changed to my question at least 3x and this was not helpful at all (this after being "trained" for a week then put on the phones) we hardly knew how to sign into the systems, way too much confusion in training. Not sure how they keep help but I totally understand why they have so much "mandatory" overtime..they cannot keep enough people hired as the previous reviews state. The way they train is ridiculous, you can barely see what is on the screen (when everything is working) All I can say is move on to better things if you can this place is NOT worth the stress and headaches you will have after working 8 hours, the pay and hours (4-10's if you want) are decent but is it really worth it to have the worst headache by the time you take your first break?....it is too stressful and I was a QA supervisor at a call center for 11 years and I took escalated calls daily, I have never seen such a mess in my life. I am a firm believer that if you are given the proper tools to succeed with excellent training, then you will excel in the job you have chosen, not the case here at all they do NOT set you up for success, you are totally set up for failure in my opinion. They expect you to know everything with little to no guidance. Do yourself a favor look at the reviews and decide for yourself, if the training was longer and you had actual support it would be a decent job. I rarely post reviews for jobs but felt that I need to warn others who may turn down other jobs that may be much better. I had a feeling that this may not be for me after reading the reviews but tried them out instead because of the weekends off, I should have trusted my instincts. I hope this helps someone to make the right decision. And if you decide to go with this company...best of luck to you, you will need it. The work life balance...would be great if they didn't force overtime on you after you have already worked 10 hr shifts from what I understand.

Pros

Monday-Friday with Holidays off. That’s it.

Cons

Overwhelming amount of work. The supervisors have never performed the work, so when you’re in need of help they are useless. The “Team Leads” are the only ones who have performed the actual job, and they’re reluctant to answer any of your questions at all. They expect mandatory overtime every week of no less than 4 hours because they can’t hire enough people to ensure the cases are properly handled in accordance to the service level agreements. The leadership gives you so much work that you consistently stay behind and overwhelmed. I had to begin taking anxiety medication so that I could make it through a shift. Regardless of the amount of times you tell leadership that you have too much in your plate, they do nothing to help you. For the same pay (15.00) you can work just about anywhere else without the extreme amount of stress.
