Pros

I honestly can't think of ONE.

Cons

AMC is the WORST company I have EVER worked for. They do NOT want their employees to have a copy of their Policy and Procedures manual because if there's a situation with an employee, then UPPER management will change their P&P based upon whatever the situation may be - to prove the employee is in the wrong. They are beyond UNETHICAL!!! Management they treat their employees like SLAVES and everybody hates it there. If you want to be treated like an inmate then you’re in the right place - it’s a living HELL! They will NEVER have a lay-off because too many people QUIT. I know 5 people in my department who QUIT without having another job because they couldn’t work for inept management. The Training Center is a JOKE! The manager is a LYING male chauvinist pig! He hates all women, belittles them, makes them feel uncomfortable and incompetent, he’s EXTREMELY rude, fabricates stories, curses like a sailor in training sessions and God only knows how he got that position? He plays the race card WAAAAAAY too many times AND WINS!!! HR is just as bad. If you file a complaint with them, they ONLY support upper management and could care less about the employee filing a complaint. They will DISMISS whatever your complaint is and will side with management – regardless if they’re in the wrong. They have no problems wrongfully terminating you, deny your unemployment, and I know for a fact they have one too many lawsuits filed against them. If you accept a position with this company YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! You’ll be the next person filing a complaint with HR, filing a lawsuit against them, contacting the EEOC, go to arbitration for fighting for unemployment and posting a poor review on this site like mine. Last but not least, the pay and benefits SUCK!

Pros

Pros, decent health care Insurance, decent 401K, and, flying.

Cons

Poor poor management. When the company finds it "OK" to pay new, inexperienced employees on average, $7000,00 more a yr than employee's who have been flying for over 8 years, I think there is a problem. Management doesn't like to fix problems, yet just shove them under the rug and hope they go away. Management also like to dish out their work for all the bottom people to do while they get to sit back and reap the rewards.
