      Great Product, market leading. Growing at a rapid rate. Will become a serious player in the future

      Cons

      Management & Senior Management not perfectly aligned. Would love the business to push culture & values more (covid was an obvious cause to why this didn't happened).

      Good engineering culture

      Pros

      I don't know about now, but engineering team culture is great back then . They've got really approachable lead and senior devs (which I believe are still there at the time of writing), whiteboard collabs, knowledge sharing session, table tennis competition (had to team up with the best to win a game). And not to mention, the best team outing at QLD 🎉 Also, I've had the privilege of not working directly with the higher ups, as I heard it can be quite stressful.

      Cons

      No clear career path/goals. * Can't think of anything else as I'm just talking about the year 2018-2019.

      Small but fast-growing team

      Pros

      Airwallex Singapore is still a small team. But it is really fast-growing. Southeast Asia is an emerging market will tons of opportunities. We already get the license in Malaysia and are likely to get more! In this market, our products are competitive. Our team initiated a lot of campaigns and bring in leads. I think the core value of our products is that we evolve based on customer's needs! Also, I can get support from my leader, from colleagues in China, AU, Europe who I never meet in person, and even brainstorm with senior management. The small but fast-growing team can really push you to achieve more.

      Cons

      There is no product and eng team in Singapore yet, although it seems the company has the plan. So sometimes the communication cost with the product team is relatively high. You can't go for a coffee with them and get the things done. But luckily, most of the people are willing to listen and help.
