-Benefits are poor
-Pay is poor and doesn't at all compete with the market
-Middle management is clueless and constantly makes decisions that have a negative impact on the teams performance
-Raises are barely given. Even when they are, they are crap.
-Being promoted requires solely depends on how much management likes you. I've seen management keep guys in the lowest-paid positions for YEARS, simply because they didn't "like" the person, even though the guy was more than deserving of a promotion.
-Equipment is poor and outdated, making the job harder for employees.
-Good and Skilled employees constantly leave because they're not valued here. The people who replace them are incompetent and make everyone's lives difficult work.
-The constant "restructuring" of teams causes constant conflict and confusion within teams.
-Company constantly looks for ways to cut corners and save money, this affects the company in several negative ways. For one, they constantly terminate employees and replaced them with off-shore resources who are absolutely terrible at their job. Secondly, they constantly cut back on percs that make the job worth it. For example, they decided that they were subsidizing the cost of benefits as much for their employees. This meant all of us have to pay more for health insurance.
-Their on-boarding process is absolutely atrocious and management has no idea how to properly train staff.
-Management feels the need to critique your job, even if they have no idea what your job entails.
-Office environment sucks, and it's very discouraging to come into it.
-Working with Indian colleagues is a complete pain.
-Company constantly spends money on outside (offshore) resources that are terrible for the company and up up costing the company more money in the long run.
I would say that the company went DOWNHILL after we got boughtout by blackstone. It went from a progressive and inviting environment, to a place people dread coming to.
