Pros

It's hard to really explain or put into words. Some of the people are okay I guess? As long as you don't look too deep, because when you do, you learn that everything that's being said is just a surface lie and they will turn around and tell everything you said to everyone else. It's a battle royale, and no one wins. They have coffee though which is nice. And sometimes free food.

Cons

Sit down by the fire, stay awhile and let a story so profound you'll assume I'm exaggerating unfold, envelope around you and haunt your dreams. Here we are, 2022, yet not even close to that year. Working at alixa is like visiting past years of darker times in history. You wanted a work life balance, but all you got is a work to work balance. You'll be constantly asked to fill in shifts on weekends for people "who don't play by the same rules" on a regular basis. Oh you just worked a weekend? Another won't hurt you then. But of course you'll say yes because put yourself out there, maybe it'll pay off. Spoilers, it doesn't. You will be thanked once, and then talked poorly about the following week. Don't you dare make a mistake, because you'll have that part of work taken away from you, and they won't even explain what you did wrong. It's just gone, so you lose privileges fast. You will be micromanaged down to when you can take your 15s and your lunch, you are a puppet, and there is only one puppet master. Dance as the puppet master pleases. You'll never be good enough here, despite your best efforts. Tldr, just don't waste your efforts. Management is a poorly told joke that doesn't land with any audience, coworkers are the absolute worst who will turn on you the moment you leave. You can't trust anyone, imagine being in a team deathmatch, and your teammates are also looking to kill you. Worst experience of my life. Training is non existent, you better be good at learning on your own.

Pros

As a billing specialist, I worked a great schedule, and once promoted to lead billing specialist (eight subordinates supervised,) my schedule was still pretty great except for the month-end billing. (see cons section for why) The company likes to promote from within and makes sure everyone that wanted to apply was able to do so. Insurance and PTO benefits were satisfactory.

Cons

Month-end billing issue - even though I was a supervisory role, I was not allowed to work remote (this was before COVID, however, I was informed that they were still having people come into the office even at the worst point of the pandemic and did not spread people out for social distancing regulations.) In the billing department of the post-consumption billing world, the medications have already been dispensed and taken by the patients - the upper management reasoning for even billers working the month-end process (in-office, mandatory overtime 1st - 5th regardless of holiday or pandemic,) was that a pharmacist had to be present for us to work on claims which is untrue since they have already been dispensed and consumed in the nursing facility way after an RPh approved the script in data entry. They state there was not a way to track productivity however, I located report functions within Framework (EMR) that can provide this information and my upper management opted to ignore my discover and push the lie furthermore onto my subordinates.
