Pros

• Not strenuous • Competitive benefits • Had a nice manager

Cons

• Call center job • Lack of communication • You're constantly on a time limit (with the customer and while doing after call work) • You often deal with a lot of upset or emotional people over the phone (making the above impossible unless you cut them off) • Managers contact you if you go above that time limit • It was rare to get a hold of anyone (ending in an upset patient) • They only give you a couple of weeks of training until they have you go on your own, even though there are dozens of clinics, facilities, and appointment types to learn to schedule for • Unorganized management • Other employees can be pretty rude • Felt on edge the whole time and dreaded going to work • Even bathroom breaks have time limits • No payed holidays, has to have PTO to cover them

Pros

Scheduling is flexible and the direct report supervisors are nice.

Cons

Senior leadership is clueless. “Money doesn’t motivate people” and it is repeated during negotiations. Negotiations results in 0-3% increase even when presented with +5% COL and the company boasting how much money they made in the pandemic year 2. They say they care. And they get therapeutic dogs to help us cope. They build new hospitals as they continue to claim how they cannot support a compensation for employees. They refuse to acknowledge that the employees (NOT leadership) makes the company money. Some days it’s very difficult to find motivation to drag yourself in to work. Especially when management does feel like they are sitting well staffed (they never are) and decide they will begin micromanaging. Yeah yeah we all get you want us to be “professional” we want you to treat us like human beings and actually LISTEN and perform to what WE are telling you. We shouldn’t have to have mass exodus episodes to get you to realize you were blind to what we are telling you. While we acknowledge you hold the hand in paying us and such, if we are not happy we can also leave. Speaking of happy…. Don’t tell us to “find your happy” some were happy here, but asinine decisions on who to make leadership occur. You select people who were at one time vocal about leaving. Poor ability to research, then trying to encourage people “just have faith” …. In what? That we are going to get screwed over again ?
