Pros
- some (not all of them, just some) of the nicest and friendly employee you will ever meet - pay was really good, higher than the market in my opinion - making a difference by helping patients
Cons
- pto policy (have to use pto for everything, no pto mean no day off) - The attendance policy for people who work in the call center is ridiculous. If your late 30 second, 40 second or 1 mins, your consider late and it counted against you. If your sick and have to go home, they count it against you even if the whole team know your sick because you been throwing up nonstop while at work. If you have a family emergency such as your kid need to go to the Emergency dept because they are ill, you will still get a point against you. They don't care about what is happening around your life. 6 pts and your fired! - the insurance plan isn't that great if you compare it to other places despite working for Allina Health - management FAVOR people, they won't admit it but they FAVOR people - people who got promoted DOESN'T DESERVE IT, BUT SINCE MANAGEMENT LIKE THEM, THEY WILL GET PROMOTED (seen it happen 3 times within 2.5 years) - toxic environment with micromanage SUPERVISORS (who doesn't even qualify to be a supervisor because how can you be a supervisor if your asking the team how to process a case, if this way is how were suppose to do it, or even ask the team to help train you??? doesn't make sense how they become supervisor) -If you work as a PAL in the call center, there is a female supervisor there that like to target people and make their life miserable. She been there for over 18 years so she think she run the department. Her life mission goal is to make your life miserable and also FIRE YOU! No one will help you when you try to complain about her. - HR is horrible in the call center. You have no one, I repeat NO ONE to go to for help. You CAN'T TRUST HR IN THE CALL CENTER, THEY AREN'T ON YOUR SIDE! - THE YEARLY RAISE IS A DISGRACE!!! It doesn't reflect the hard works that you put in thru out the year for this company. They should be ashamed for it! Some people get good raise because supervisor/ management like them. Most of the hard workers people doesn't get good raise despite doing everything for the department.
